My dog's barking. I wonder if you can hear that little B word crying and crying cry.. We are now on Thor one. Which came out in 2011. That is a 13 years ago. Crazy. If your kid was like three back then he or she could drive now. Wild right. so Thor one had a budget of$150 million. Can you guess what its box office was? The box office for Thor one. I was$449 million. So crazy. Back then that was good money. Like shit. There's so many movies now that are not even. Close to 150. It's like, 250 plus million dollars almost all the time. I don't even know how movies are so expensive nowadays. Oh, again, this was 13 years ago. And also people need to realize a lot of these stars like Chris Hemsworth, this was like their first kind of. Introduction to this. Big screen ever really. All these people like Scarlett Johannson, even maybe less so hurt, but you got Chris Hemsworth. Chris Evans even was not as famous as when he became captain America. Tony stark, Robert Downey, Jr. Like that guy really blew up. He was already big, but his career was kind of. On the downswing and then it went back up with Ironman. He became a household name again. A few stray thoughts I have for this film where it's just crazy, how we haven't seen more Darcy, like she was in one division, you know, Decent more of a side character kind of twist that you see later on, but really she should get way more screen time. Darcy was amazing. I was a big fan of the act from two broke girls. Who knows. Maybe we'll see more of her because one thing that I have noticed in the. This next era of marvels. A lot of these like background characters has started to get more screen time and more opportunities to get put in the limelight. You got winter soldier, Falcon. Vision. Even Wanda, she was more of a side character in the first phase. She really blew up. And this next era of Marvel era. Abrah Everyone loves Elizabeth Olson. She's awesome. Now, if I'm talking about. Comedy. Yeah, maybe you could say Darcy was one of the more funnier. People in this movie, but if we're talking like dramatic performance, Tom Hiddleston is probably the best actor in Thor. What a player, man, that guy was on unreal in this film. What else is pretty amazing about seeing his first appearance in the MCU is I recently it felt like recently, but it was in November, in the fall. But so it was, it's still fresh in my mind, his final performances low-key so I'm seeing the start of him as low-key. And I recently saw where he ended up going as a character and it really puts into perspective how much. Character growth. Loki has experienced over the course of his time. In Marvel. And I think the reason why he was able to do so well and have such incredible character growth. Is because Tom Hiddleston had such an amazing range and he was such a good dramatic actor. Who's also really funny. Yeah. Perfectly embodied Loki. There's no doubt about it. Fun fact, I'm actually Tom Huddleson audition for Thor and there's a little snippet of him. Auditioning for Thor. It's pretty funny how they ended up switching. And it's kind of like what happened with, uh, with Superman, because. The guy who played beast. And the X-Men prequels is now playing Lex Luther and James guns. Uh, James Gunn Superman, but he originally auditioned for Superman in the ended up getting cast as Lex Luther, because it was kind of a similar type of thing. You auditioned for the role of the hero, but they just really love you as the villain instead. So you have to switch it up. There's still amazing roles, right? Syphon the warriors three. Love them. SIF also made some appearances in Marvel agents of shield. So we've seen her on a little bit of stuff, but overall. You never really got enough of them, which is funny because I think. This is what this first phase, like what I'm starting to see did so well, is they stuck to the main characters, but I still wish we had more time. With the side characters, you know, But maybe they can. Maybe it's just not something that you can do with all these psych carrots, because then you have what we have now, which is too much shit and people get lost in it all. I don't know either way, like I wasn't a fan of how they killed off the warriors three in the last Thor movie. That was kind of lame. Stella. Oh, also. Uh, what's his name? Uh, Josh Dallas played one of the characters. He got switched for Zachary Levi and the next door. Unfortunately. Not, maybe it was Thor, Ragnarok, and one of the floors they switched to Zachary Levi. Apparently Zachary Levi took the role because he thought he was going to have a lot of his warriors. Oh, A lot in his role in the warriors three, but Nope. He didn't. I didn't even realize Ray Stevenson was one of the other characters in the warriors. Three. Rest in peace, man. You're an amazing actor. You were so good in a soca and we're really gonna miss you. Rip Ray Stevenson. Great performance in Thor. Let's circle back a little bit. To low-key and I know this is Thor's story. But it's just really important that I talk about Loki, because think about it. We saw him as the God of mischief here. This is low-key as the God of mischief. You think he's a. A little bit sneaky, but he's not full of villain yet. And you also kind of sympathize for the character too. He goes from this God of mischief that we see to the God of stories. Oh, what a transformation like I can't, I can't say enough. Good things about Tom Hiddleston. I, you know, I don't even care. He deserves an Emmy first performance in low-key. Seriously, give the man an Emmy. He deserves it. People don't give superhero shows and movies enough respect because they're in fricking tight. It doesn't mean it's not a good story. It doesn't mean there's, there's not good acting performances in the shows. Aren't well-written. Robert Downey Jr. Even said that he had his best performance as, um, Tony stark, but he didn't get enough love because it was superhero that applies to low-key too. Low-key deserves more. Love. The way he was portrayed by Tom Hiddleston. Now let's end off with where Thor ranks before we got to this point, we had Ironman as number one. The Hawk is number two. And Ironman to is number three. To as number three. So the question now is where does Thor rank. And while I love Thor, I, Chris Hemsworth is Thor. Great performance. Hilarious. We'll have another, just, just awesome shit, dude. So funny. That being said. I'm going to have to be a little controversial here. And put Thor. Behind Hulk. And ahead of iron man, two. I know. The Hawk just really surprised me. It was really good and grimy, dark. Thor's really awesome too. It's just not as good as the Hawk, unfortunately. So it goes Ironman one, the Hulk two. Thor three and Ironman two comes in at fourth place. Next week we are going to be watching. Captain America first Avenger, the last movie before. The first epic team up of the MCU. The Avengers. See, and next week,
