NEWS HYPE SON! Yeah, we got some BIG casting news to talk about this episode. Let's get right to it! These two films that we're talking about are some of the biggest comic properties in the history of Marvel and DC. What we're talking about is fantastic for the first Marvel family. And the second one is a Superman legacy. The first film of this new era of DC run by James Gunn. So let's start off with fantastic four. We have two official announcements. These are like, I want to say a fishermen Marvel, hasn't gone out and say, it said it. But it's pretty much confirmed. Like everyone's talking about it. Sous storm was picked before the strike. So although like she signed on to do it, they both agreed to do it. They were unable to officially announce it because of the strike. She can't like promote or anything. Right. She can't even film. she Was made famous by Jessica Alba and the O G fantastic four. She's the main love interest of. Read Richard's, who's probably the most famous character in the fantastic four. Not probably he definitely is, but she's also a very powerful character in her own. Right. And a very awesome character at that. She's being played by Vanessa Kirby. I know her best from mission impossible. Perfect. Sue storm. Read. Richard was also announced. And I don't know if I like this. I gotta be honest with you. For those of you who have seen the Mandalorian for those of you have seen the last of us. And for those of you who have seen game of Thrones, there's one character, one actor, I should say that has been in all of them. I'm going to give you a moment to think about it. It's pretty obvious. Did you guys, Pedro, Pedro, did you guys Pedro Pascal, because if you did, that is the right answer. Pedro Pascal is our Reed Richards. I have nothing against Pedro Pascoe. He's one of my favorite actors. But. Not really who I pictured is Reed Richards. I don't know why they didn't give drunk Krasinski a chance. He had no lines in Dr. Strange multi-verse of madness. Nothing to work with and people were saying he's no good. Come on. That's ridiculous. But fine. I'll give Pedro Pascal the chance. I'm sure he'll kill it too. I just can't picture it. You know? He, but he's such a good actor. He was so good in the mental Lauren and he, you never even saw his face. The last of us to like excellent work. Everyone knows him from game of Thrones too. When he had his eyes exploded. I say, we give them a chance. We see what, what they're cooking, the person who's directing the fantastic four he's best known for. I believe it's oh, was that Marvel Disney pusher that it was in low-key. I want to say there's one division, Matt, Shackman. He also show on our show runner for, a few seasons of. it's always sunny in Philadelphia that's where you got to start really. So those are official castings. We have Pedro Pascal has Reed Richards, Vanessa Kirby as Sue storm. Here are some rumored castings and I'm going to put it rumored because. I'm pretty sure these are the castings, but I haven't had enough information sent to me. Where I can send to me, I'm not an insider. I haven't seen enough information online. To making believe that these two are for sure. Whereas with Reed Richards and Sue storm. I know that those are the actual castings. So. They're called a fantastic Fort right. We have four people. We just. Uh, listed the first two who are the most famous to. They ended up getting married have any of you seen stranger things? Because if you have the last season of the show had someone that I think touched all our hearts, Joseph Quinn. He was excellent. So well done. His character in that season, he is rumored to be playing Johnny storm. Who is the brother of Sue storm. Chris Evans actually played. Johnny storm the O G fantastic. For Jessica Alba. Remember flame on. The next is for the thing, the final member of the fantastic four and it's Ebon Moss Backrack I hope I'm saying it right. I probably not. I would say his most famous role is. He's in a what's that show called the bear. So if you've seen the bear, he's the he's got like blonde, scruffy hair, I think. I know him from Daredevil. No, sorry, not Daredevil the Punisher and the first season of the PON. No. The second season of the Punisher. he teams up with Jon Bernthal as the Punisher to take down some bad guys that are threatening his family. Then we have the less rumor. So there's a tear left. I'm only mentioning it because if this is true, it would be the most inspired casting I've seen in a while. I know, I said I've loved Kamala Khan as, email of Alina's Kamala Khan. Cause she's just awesome. She's a great person to have in this universe. But I didn't know that going in. I'm talking about inspired casting, the sense of. If this is true, I cannot picture a better person to play this role. We're talking about Dr. Doom. Okay. We're on Dr. Doom now. I heard the the villain for this fantastic form of is going to be Galactus, but may Dr. Doom is in it as a side character who will have a bigger role going forward. We've talked about on previous episodes about how their. Going to, they may replace Kang. I've heard some rumors recently that that's debunked. But. Secret wars, which is the big Avengers movie, the one that's going to end up and the multi-verse SEG up. That. Whole thing, secret wars. Was started by Kang and are not Kang by not Kang, but by Dr. Doman the comics. So Dr. Doom could have a huge role in the multi-verse saga. I know you're like, just go to it. Who's the rumored casting. Kilian Murphy. How sick would Kili and Murphy be as Dr. Doom. bRo. That would be so unreal if Kili and Murphy was Dr. Doom, I can't even picture a better casting. I'm sure there's other castings that would be great. And maybe some that would be better than him once they actually get the role. But if we're talking about who in your head, can you picture as Dr. Doom? Kelly and Murphy wait, he was in the original doctor doom, right? No, no, no. He wasn't. I'll look it up again. I'm looking up now. Fantastic for 2005. Cast. No, no. It was a Julian McMahon. That was the original doctor to him. He was a good doctor to him too. But come on. Kelly and Murphy has Dr. Doom, bro. Have that guy play the role for the next 20 years? I don't give a shit if he's like 70, when he finishes. He's my favorite actor. I can't say definitively actually. He's one of my favorite actors. On real, I would go ham. If you was the frickin. Dr. Doom casting choice. Apparently he's a top casting trust, but if he ended up actually getting the role, I would love it. Dr. Doom has always been a homie who loved magic. That was his shit. Yo, he loved that. She. But another thing that Dr. Tomb was. He was a brilliant maniacal. Cunning tactician. However many Scrabble words that I can use there. If I were to think of someone from DC who would be similar in the sense of, they were really good at planning and they were super devious. I would think Lex Luther would be a version of that. They're not the same characters at all, but in terms of. You know, all that, all those big Scrabble words I used. DC has actually found there Lex Luthor to run Superman legacy. That's who we're talking about when we're talking Superman legacy. Nicholas Hoult is the Lex Luther of DC. All these other ones haven't been straight up announced by Marvel. There. The ones I mentioned earlier, they're pretty much confirmed. Lex Luther, however, His Cassie was literally announced by James Gunn himself. So this is for sure happening. A lot of you probably remember him as the beast from the X-Men prequels. It was also really good in the menu. When I heard that he was auditioning for Superman, I was like, he's a better Lex Luther. Pose Alexa is there. Really glad that it, what ended up happening. Interestingly enough in Marvel. Tom Hiddleston audition for the role of Thor, but he ended up getting low key. Without even auditioning for low-key cause they just loved them so much a store. So maybe Nicholas Hoult will have a similar kind of iconic performances. Fingers crossed. This is a very important casting. Alexa Luther has a huge role to play in DC across multiple projects. If he's well done.
